Helpful tips:

• All pages on our website have an “Order Records” button at the bottom. Just like the link above! This button takes you directly to the GPA landing page at Parchment.

• Please allow 3-4 days to process orders for transcripts.

• If a transcript is needed in a RUSH, please order your transcript through Parchment and then email the Academic Coordinator directly at ac@gpa-nb.org. Parchment sometimes has a delay in their order notification system.

• The Academic Coordinator at GPA processes all transcript orders and answers all questions regarding transcripts. During the school year holidays and summer break, it could take up to 5-7 business days to get a response for a transcript request. Please keep this in mind when requesting transcripts and with application deadlines.

• When setting up an account at Parchment for the first time, make sure the account is set up under the student’s name and email. Do not set up an account as a parent with the student listed under the parent account. This will require a phone call to Parchment to separate your student from the parent account once they are applying to colleges. Students need to be working under their own email for applications and credentials in the future.

• When do I need an “official” transcript? Transcripts are considered “official” when they are directly sent from the originating school to the destination college/university/employer. Official transcripts cannot be seen or opened by the student/family/employee requesting them. Official transcripts are signed and sent through a document delivery service like Parchment. If you are a home school parent who needs to see coursework to complete your own official home school transcript, please email ac@gpa-nb.org for an unofficial copy.

• During the college and university application process, some schools use the SENDedu transcript delivery system. The application to that school automatically creates a request to GPA-NB. Make sure the GPA-NB Academic Coordinator’s email (ac@gpa-nb.org) is entered into the application correctly.

• If you are a currently enrolled student at GPA-NB, transcripts do not cost you anything! Grace Prep Academy pays the cost of transcript requests. Once you graduate, there will be a fee for each transcript request. The fee charged by Parchment is under $5 currently.
