Margy Pryor

Mrs. Pryor received her B.S. in Education from the University of Kansas. She is approved to teach Advanced Placement (AP®) coursework in English Language and Composition and in English Literature and Composition. Mrs. Pryor has fourteen years of experience teaching AP English Literature, AP English Language, and Pre-AP English and ten years of experience teaching Latin. She has taught middle school grammar and middle school writing. Mrs. Pryor is also the author of two books published by the Institute for Excellence in Writing: Succeeding on the AP English Language Exam: with College-Level Analysis and Succeeding on the AP Literature Exam: with College-Level Analysis. She believes in teaching students how to analyze literature effectively as they read and how to recognize and apply the basic skills necessary for writing cogent essays.


Sandy Miller

Mrs. Miller received her B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Physics from the University of Oregon. Before her teaching career she spent ten years facilitating and directing business operations, recruiting physicians, managing information systems, and overseeing strategic planning. She was also part of a team in charge of transitioning private physician practices into hospital-based practices, starting up a home health service, an urgent care and a family practice residency program. Mrs. Miller began teaching fourteen years ago and has experience in elementary, middle and secondary classrooms. She specializes in high school mathematics through Calculus, Chemistry and Physics. She is also experienced with tutoring and functioning as the primary home school parent. Mrs. Miller enjoys bringing a relaxing atmosphere to the math classroom through conversation, study groups, student interaction, hands on practice, quiet music, a coffee bar and projects.


Valerie Lietz

Mrs. Lietz received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Illinois State University. She is certified to teach grades K-12 and has 20+ years teaching experience at all levels. She has led both instrumental and vocal groups and continues to teach private lessons, as well as music theory.She has led student trips to Walt Disney World to learn Disney performance methods and to experience performing music in a professional environment. She seeks wonderful local performance opportunities for her students including pastor conferences, mayor’s prayer breakfasts, Rampage games, and Spurs games.


Erika Salas

Mrs. Salas received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Universidad de Montemorelos (Montemorelos, MX). She has a specialization in Educational Psychology and spent three years teaching bilingual education at Monterrey City School in Monterrey Mexico. She has extensive experience as a Spanish tutor working with all ages of children.


Karen Hopkins

Mrs. Hopkins received a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science, with a minor in Art, from Texas Tech University. She has enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom and homeschooling mom.. She has a lifetime of experience doing various creative projects with multiple types of media, as a learner and while teaching it to others. She was the winner of Clear Creek Independent School District Logo Design Contest in 1986. The logo was made into a patch and flown on a NASA Space Shuttle Mission with an astronaut who lived in the school district. Mrs. Hopkins is the author and illustrator of Prepared for Battle, a Bible study about the armor of God. This is her first year with Grace Prep teaching Art.


Sara Hull

Mrs. Hull graduated from Texas State University with a B.S. Education and a minor in Mathematics. She has a Lifetime Certification from TEA in teaching mathematics to grades 1 through 12. She has recently completed 21 additional hours in undergraduate science. Mrs. Hull is professionally trained in Advanced Cooperative Learning, Interdisciplinary Studies in Middle School, and Gifted and Talented Programs. She has 20 years teaching experience, including public schools, private schools, home school, and private tutoring. She has also been in leadership for 8 years in the REACH Home School Support Group and continues to support the home school community through private tutoring in math and science.


Rosie Quesada

Mrs. Quesada attended courses at UCLA in Pre-Nursing Core while fulfilling duties as an Air Force ROTC Cadet. She continued her education in paramedic studies through the University of Alaska. She worked in the Department of Medicine at the University of Arizona in multiple specialties, such as Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, and the Allergy Clinic. Mrs. Quesada is fluent in English and Spanish. She has also enjoyed being a home school educator of her own children for six years.


Jessica Melott

Mrs. Melott was an active member of her student council at Sam Rayburn High School in Pasadena, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 1996 while also participating in T-Camp, Parents’ Weekend, and other student government activities. After four children and many years in healthcare marketing, she left the healthcare world to pursue homeschooling her children. Mrs. Melott and her husband have taught Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University at their home church many times and have come to understand the joy of living debt free. Mrs. Melott enjoys teaching the high school girls Sunday School class at FBCNB, reading, working out with Camp Gladiator, and all things fair-trade fashion!
